Despite the fact that Internet Explorer is one of the worst browsers, according to most professionals, many continue to use this program.
Why? Because it is installed by default along with Windows. There are many problems with this browser, and most often the only way out is to reset all settings.
How to reset Internet Explorer settings? To restore the browser, you can perform a full cleaning of all parameters and thus return the program to the form in which it was after installation. This is not so difficult to do, but for beginners we made up detailed instructions .
First you need to go to the browser settings. You can enter them through the browser menu, but the reset takes effect only after the program is restarted, so it’s best to use the Run function: special command "inetcpl. cpl":
Then a window opens with browser settings, where you need to go to the tab with additional parameters:
There are two buttons here, first you need to restore additional parameters. Just click on the appropriate button (nothing changes). Then you need to click Reset and a warning appears:
As you can see, all the elements that will be restored are presented here, and decide whether to remove personal data or not. If problems are associated with too slow browser operation, then it is better to delete everything at once.
But do not rush, first perform a reset without deleting personal data, and then, if necessary, you can repeat this procedure.
To reset the settings in Internet Explorer, the last step is left - it is to wait until the program is fully restored. You will learn about this from the special window:
When a green check mark appears next to each line, the settings will be completely reset, and when it is closed, all other windows will close. After that, you can go to the browser and make sure that the parameters are set by default.
