Stompernet is with us again!
Long time Andy Jenkins did not indulge us with his free (but this is not at all useless) video tutorials. The first lesson in the Going Natural 2 series. 0 was published recently - on December 6th (do not forget to subscribe to their newsletter). It is fully devoted to how, through simple transformations, it is possible to increase site traffic by two or even three times.
I again strongly recommend that you watch this video. Firstly, this is the practice of language (listening comprehension), secondly, you will see how to make video presentations. In this case, Andy and the company demonstrate aerobatics.
When you click on the link, another video will open (I'll post it a little later). In the lower right corner there is a “View Playlist” button (far right).
Click it and select the first video from above.
If your Internet is not very fast, click on a pause and go for a walk in the fresh air (good, the weather is outside.) Those who connect themselves exclusively with Runet, I hasten to inform you that the material of this lesson is suitable for any country and language.
So, our current story is called: "How Andy Jenkins increased profit from one site from $ 1000 to $ 2988 per day in less than a month without spending a cent on advertising .
It’s about a2armory. com.
After Andy created this site, he began to actively promote it and after a while he appeared in the top 10 Google at the request of “knight's dagger”.
Next - more.
In the end, Andy came out on top for some requests. However, the number of visitors was only 25 % of what Wordtracker showed. As a result, he found a solution that will help you, no matter what site you have or what you are selling - this solution is universal.
Although it’s still important. this technique will not help the mini-site. Alas.
You all know What Google looks like. What you may not know is how the visitor’s attention is distributed over the page. The next screenshot of Andy laid out, if I'm not mistaken, in early 2007 during the first part of Going Natural.
Andy calls this “hit-map” - literally “click map.”
As soon as Google returns search results, three things happen:
As you can see, b o most of the visitors view only the first 5-6 results, with the main attention being paid to the first 2-3. (See also the search traffic distribution graph.)
Andy lacked 25% of all traffic, and after doing some work, he discovered the following:
This is a double issue: the first is the main page, and immediately below it is the secondary one.
As a result of such conversions, the search traffic of this site has grown 2 times. And here it does not matter at all where in the issue is your website: 1st, 5th or 25th. The number of visitors will still double.
This is what the same click card looks like, only for double issue:
More double issue not only doubles the traffic, but also raises the site pages in issue. The fact is that a secondary page does not have to have the same "weight" as the main one in order to rise to its level. You only need to "raise" it to the page of issue, on which the home page of the site is located.
1. Determine the keyword density in the site title (tag. Title.).
2. Determine the location of keywords in the title.
3. Determine the density of keywords on the main page of the site. The density indicator itself can be anything. The main thing is that the density of keywords on the main and secondary pages should be approximately the same.
4. Create a new page with these characteristics:
5. Link the main and secondary pages. Here Andy introduces the concept of “authority hub” (I don’t even know how to translate :)).This is the page that receives and gives a link to another page of a similar subject.
Here’s how the linking takes place:
Notice that the link anchor in both cases is the same - “medieval weapons”.
Now we have two pages optimized for one keyword and interlinked with each other using the same link anchor.
6. Put links to the secondary page from those pages that are referenced by the main page. here's a picture:
There are at least two such pages (bottom row).
To make it all look natural, Andy arranged the main key phrases In the navigation menu, which looks exactly the same on all pages of the site (hence, all pages are interlinked):
7. Now put at least two on the secondary page external links with an anchor corresponding to the selected keyword.
There are two ways to get such links: The first is to start a blog and link to it. The advantages of your own blog are obvious, but its you also need to unwind so that it has some reference weight.
The second option is to write an article and place it in the articles catalog. Not all directories allow you to use anchors, so when you create a secondary page, give it the following address:
By itself, the mention of a keyword has little effect on the position of the page in the output, however this helps if you are unable to put the desired anchor links (for example, when placing an article in a directory).
If you do everything as Andy said, a new page may appear in a double issue for 3-7 days. It largely depends on the PR of the main page of the site.
The advantages of this approach are obvious:
There is another double issue. Andy calls it "authority hub listings” (again, this is an authority hub). Most often, this issue appears when a domain is requested:
As you can see, there is no magic here. A few simple steps guaranteed to increase the amount of search traffic on your sites and, consequently, your earnings on the Internet. Remember these steps and apply them to all your sites.
p. Andy already laid out the second video of this series. It is about duplicate content. You can watch it right now. I will translate it in a few days.
