Introduction

Hello everyone! My name is Guru Bob , and I personally want to welcome all the participants of the Challange 2010 marathon. We are still on the eve of the marathon. The video of this lesson will focus your attention on choosing a browser platform. Why is this so important? Browsers evolve and become more cumbersome. Created and written hundreds of different add-ons that extend their functionality. However, this entails an even greater increase in the weight of the browser and its load on performance. Therefore, one of the desired requirements of each user is to ensure the best speed and performance of the browser.

Google Chrome does an excellent job with its tasks and satisfies user requirements. We recommend its use throughout the marathon. Chrome has a lot of add-ons, so it is not inferior in functionality to FireFox.

The first thing we are going to do is extend the functionality of Google Chrome . As I mentioned, Chrome has many extensions, which makes it a good competitor to a browser like FireFox.

Chrome Bird

The first extension I recommend is Chrome Bird. This is a Twitter extension that allows you to directly interact with your Twitter account. You will always be on-line event messages and monitor Twitter account activity.

Kuber Pagerank Checker

This extension shows the PR value of the page being viewed. PR is the value of authority for Google.

SEO Quake

This is a very functional plugin. Popular among SEOs and webmasters using FireFox. A number of parameters of the viewed page and the site as a whole are shown: puzomerki, indexing, the number of backlinks of various search engines and so on.

Ultimate Google Chrome Flag

Reflects the flag of the country being viewed site. So, you will easily see the geographical location of the site. This is especially useful when you are studying backlinks from donors.

Google Global

This plugin was available in FireFox. Now it is available in Chrome. The plugin allows you to change the geography of the search. For example, if you need to know the position of the site on requests, say in the UK, then this plugin allows you to do this. You will see the result of issuing exactly the same as if you were in the UK itself. Thus, you can explore the issue even in Europe, at least in the USA, etc.

Install Google Chrome Extensions

All Extensions for Chrome can be found on its home page:

Now, in order to link your Twitter account, you need to click on the icon of the installed extension and log in to Twitter.

You can see all installed extensions by clicking on the wrench icon (upper right corner of the browser) and selecting the Extensions submenu. Here you can remove the extension.

All other extensions are installed by analogy. The differences are only in their settings and functionality. Erase this lesson on our channel.
