Day 7. Google Analytics and Pretty Links - Profit Hunter

Today is a day about two simple and very important things. The first one is tracking our site and collecting statistics for analysis in order to know how well our site performs its tasks. If people visiting our blog are ready to buy something, then we, this is the second goal, should advertise our product.

Creating Google Analytics profile

Day 7. Google Analytics and Pretty Links - Profit Hunter

In the previous marathon of the Thirty Day Challenge, I created a rather detailed video on the setting of Googly Analytics - how to create an account, like add a profile for your site and how to install the code on your site . Therefore, in this marathon, I will not repeat everything again, but just remind you of the link to this video, where you can find out everything yourself in trifles and by example.

On the "Training” page under our 30-day marathon, there is a section " Preseason Lessons ". There you will find a box with the words "Google Analytics". Click on it. You will get to the page with the video. Also here is a direct link to the page with the video "Tracking traffic to your website."

Day 7. Google Analytics and Pretty Links - Profit Hunter

The first thing they read in the ad is the heading . Therefore, it is necessary to attach maximum attention to his choice. After all, if no one reads your ad, you will not make a single sale. What can attract the attention of site visitors? Let's think what might attract your attention? Someone asks you a question and makes you think, someone surprises you, or says something shocking, someone shares a secret, important news, an interesting fact or a new discovery, someone encourages your human desire to make more money, or become more attractive, or avoid extra costs, or be loved. Someone offers you a quick and easy way to do something. And most importantly, someone says that something will help you earn, or solve your problem. All this always attracts people's attention.

Therefore, looking at the headlines, we are looking for a short sentence that includes several of these facts. And this is what we got: " Profesional Trout Angler Reveals His Secret! ” (A professional trout fisherman reveals his secrets!). Any fisherman wants to know the secrets of another fisherman, which means such a headline will attract visitors to the site Add our headline:

In writing the text of an advertisement, you need to achieve the following points:
- tell the reader about the product what it is?
- the selected product will make a profit or help solve the problem.
For example, I sell the book Trout Fishing, the reason someone buys this book is more fish.
You can search for offers for your advertisement in the Offer Table, or in the paragraphs proposed by the program, or you can write the text yourself.

3. We write the advertisement

We need to type an advertisement and place it on the main page of the site (main body). Why? Because the widget has limited space for the text. We will not be able to place the details.
