Day 25. Search for semantic and long keywords - Profit Hunter

Today we are comprehending everything we need to do to move forward - how to increase profits, attract more traffic, raise the ranking in the search, in general, launch and promote the site. After this lesson, you will understand:

  1. how to use Google Analytics to track blog traffic using keywords
  2. how Market Samurai will help you to search for complex oil-related keywords

Let's take a closer look at Google Analytics, something that has not been disclosed before, but is very important for finding keywords. Also, make sure you understand the "Keyword Tree" and the different types of keywords.

So you decided to keep moving forward in your micro niche. You need to know a few moments and keep them constantly in mind:

  1. The first moment - we want to try and open our blog to the widest assortment of keywords within a traffic niche. Therefore, we want to find additional keywords — not only within the theme and category of the found keywords — that may have potential traffic in the micro niche. The best way to increase your ranking is to create a huge network of backlinks to your blog.

If we get traffic to the blog, then we also want to convert it to commercial income.

We use Google Analitycs to search for keywords

Day 25. Search for semantic and long keywords - Profit Hunter

Authorize yourself: http: // www. google. com / analytics /

Enjoying a blog account about Vintage Electric Guitar (Vintage Electric Guitars, in my case). In this example, we want to expand the list of keywords to 50, Google Analytics shows us (after a certain period of time) the keywords that people searched for and that brought them to our site.

Day 25. Search for semantic and long keywords - Profit Hunter

We see that for the Vintage Electric Guitar blog, the main links from keywords that are directly related to the main thematic keyword of the blog are the Vintage Electric Guitar. After some time and getting traffic from a wide range of keywords, Google will start sending you traffic for keywords that you don’t particularly optimize. Google constantly evaluates the relevance of your blog for various keywords. Then these keywords will appear in the search.

Thus, having studied by what words more often went to the site, we could make additional keywords ourselves and create back links. As a result, the ranking in the search engine will increase. And with an increase in the rating of traffic from Google.

If you still don’t get enough traffic, don’t worry if your keyword list is small. Start publishing more content to your blog, and Google Analytics will begin to expand your keyword list.

How to construct complexly complex derivation keywords

Day 25. Search for semantic and long keywords - Profit Hunter

Before returning to Market Samurai, consider concept of Keywords Tree . A good example is to visually look at the process of building an optimal keyword for a website that attracts organic traffic.

On the second day of the marathon, you identified a thematic keyword ( Theme Keyword ) - the basis for your site. Thematic keyword is a tree trunk. You then identified several categories of keywords that relate to a thematic keyword, and also have a decent amount of traffic, and an acceptable level of competition. These categories make up the branches of your tree.

Today I will introduce you to two additional types of keywords:

  1. Prev Type - multi-complex derivational keywords, and
  2. second type - semantic derivational keywords. These words give the website more breadth and relevance and are equivalent to the leaves on your Keywords Tree.

Long-tailed derivational keywords

A long-tailed keyword is a multi-word phrase. The larger the phrase, the longer the tail. Let’s look at an example:

Thematic key phrase (tree trunk) -

Sleeping Bag

Derivative key keyword -

British Army Sleeping Bag (British Army Sleeping Bags)

The key phrase is Sleeping Bag , consisting within a long tail phrase and is a derivational or derivative.

Semantic long-tailed derivational keywords

Semantic long-tailed derivational keywords are phrases that do not contain the root key phrase, but are semantically close to it. Example:

Thematic key phrase -

Sleeping Bag

Long-tailed derivative -

Mountane Slumber Bag (Mountain Travel Bags)

Google still sees these words as very close phrases. The competition of these phrases is very low. Therefore, if you are creating your blog, focused on long-tailed derivational phrases, you will have a good chance to get an excellent rating for such keywords. The downside is that such phrases do not generate particularly traffic.

Going back to the tree, all you want is to create a website with high-quality articles that will be filled with a thematic key phrase, and will also have a wide range of long-tailed derivational and semantic words relevant to your niche.
