Choosing a platform
In the previous post, I mentioned the free platform Rticlz. com. Something seems to me that Google disliked her, because by the request of rticlz the main page is not clear where, and some of my blogs have disappeared altogether. So back to the classic 🙂
Updated: With Rticlz everything is ok. I hurried with the conclusions.
For example, consider the WordPress platform.
Registration
First register on the site itself. The registration form is standard. Problems should not arise. Then go directly to creating a blog.
(By the way, in WordPress you can register a blog not only in English, but also in Russian.)
In the “Blog Domain” and “Blog Title” fields, drive in your phrase “umbrella.” For “free speed reading”, it will look like this:
Done? Now click the “Create Blog” button.
All. The blog is ready.
Login and start filling it with content.
A little optimization
In order for Google not only to index your page, but also raise it to the highest possible level, you must take some action on it optimization.
A good example is the blog of Rob Sommerville, which he created at the end of July, even before the start of the original Marathon in order to test the effectiveness of the entire “marathon” process.
How to Become a Wedding Planner
At the time of filming, Rob's video blog was ranked 5th in a Google search by exact request. The number of competitors was 9570 pages.
As you can see the key phrase “how to become a wedding planner” is present in:
These are the basic steps to optimize your blog, which you should also take. This will allow you to bypass many sites that will be optimized for more generalized keywords (or not optimized in general).
Look at the output for this phrase:
As you can see, the above combination is not found on any of the sites that are located in Top Google. This is exactly what will allow our narrow bloc I’ve come out in the top ten.
Here’s Rob’s blog itself (although it’s not there anymore, so all the screenshots are from the video).
None frills - everything is as simple as possible.
Name and description
Both the title and description contain the specified keyword, which allows the potential visitor to find out , what this blog is about before it clicks on a link in Google.
Placement of the keyword
In the blog title:
In the title of the first post :
In the first paragraph of the text:
Here the keyword also needs to be bold in font, so that the search bot considers this phrase as the most important on the page.
And at the end of the message:
Here the key phrase should be italicized .
Affiliate Links
At Rob, they are located at the top of the post (in WordPress, this seems to be impossible).
and at the bottom of the page in the second message.
Both links lead to a mini-site that sells certain information about the planning of the wedding. This could be an e-book, or a hardcover book from Amazon, or some product from eBay.
That's all. Start creating a site.
