Creating an SEO Empire - Profit Hunter

Creating an SEO Empire - Profit Hunter Translation of the second article from BlueHatSeo. Original article here. Translation of the first article here.

How I make money online ...

It doesn't matter what knowledge and skills you have if you don't know how to use them, they are useless. That is why I publish a series of posts that describe my earnings strategy on the Internet. The first post was devoted to capturing a niche. With it, I wanted to show the power of numbers.

My whole strategy is a big puzzle, the components of which are scattered around the blog in the form of separate notes and posts. In this article I tried to put everything together. I have always said that there are no trodden tracks in SEO. But it has road signs, according to which everyone eventually chooses his own way.

So, it's time to build a powerful SEO empire. First, let's define the main points. Any activity, including SEO, has some features and rules, without which this activity is impossible. Let's start with them.

Rule # 1. Learn the language that the server speaks.

At the beginning of construction you will have to make some investments. Over time, such investments will be much more. In order not only to recapture, but also to increase the resources spent, you will have to master the programming. You can find a million reasons not to learn programming languages, but neither me nor anyone else will feel either cold or hot. At stake is your success. When I created my first business, I worked 9-13 hours a day, 7 days a week for two years (at that time I went to work). During the lunch break, I read printed programming guides and at the same time I tried to get rid of annoying employees who wanted to know what I was doing.

Save your excuses for someone else. I understand how difficult it all is, but do not expect sympathy from me. At least for a week, forget about the TV and learn PHP, Perl, MySQL (or any other database language). Carry a programming tutorial everywhere to reread several pages when the time comes. Now you need to master the basics, the skill will come with experience.

Rule №2. Every site should pay off.

I will repeat it again and again. You have to create a huge number of sites. Some of them will be born exclusively for link building purposes. However, these sites should make a profit, sufficient, at least, to recoup the domain and hosting.

Rule №3. Rent a server.

It doesn't matter if it is a small VPS (virtual server) or an impressive dedicated server. Everyone needs to start somewhere. Do not begin to build your SEO-empire on shared hosting. You will only kill time to set it up and overpay money. Immediately buy a server. If you need my advice, I use the Softlayer servers.

Rule №4. Make friends with a programming specialist.

Find someone who can help you solve current problems. Believe me, such problems will be in abundance, and you do not need any trifle to hinder the development of the whole project. Sometimes even the smallest hint of a specialist can give great results.

Rule №5. If you wait for the results, you will never wait for them.

This is a very important rule. Your SEO-empire really flourishes not earlier than in 6-8 months. If you start work and stop to wait for any results, you will not get anything. To succeed, you must work tirelessly. From now on, all your statistics will be measured by money transfers and checks. Of course, everyone wants to see the fruits of their work here and now, but this is not the case.

I note right away that this article cannot be called a plan of action. Rather, it’s a description of the strategy of investing and profiting in SEO and creating a solid platform for future projects. But having a strategy and understanding its structure and essence, you can succeed.

Some tasks will be interesting and highly profitable, others will be routine and hardly payable, but you should understand and remember that both of them are obligatory for implementation. Amateur beginners immediately grab for the fact that according to the assurances of specialists brings a lot of money, but they do not understand that before they succeed, these same specialists worked a lot to lay the foundation for the project that now feeds and dresses them. I will show you how to build such a foundation. Our path will not be easy and easy, but at the end of it you will get all the necessary knowledge to become an expert in SEO. I guarantee this to you. Just follow me and don't get ahead. You must clearly understand what you will do and for what purpose.

So let's get started ...

Now we will literally start building a business. We will start with earthworks and laying the foundation and floor by floor will build your skyscraper, which in the end will bring you the desired financial success. Now let's get everything in order.

Find a flat and solid piece of land for construction. Its size can be anything - it all depends on your desires and capabilities. In any case, do not forget to allocate some land in case you want to expand the construction.

At this stage, you must purchase a dedicated server (or VPS) and domains. It is unlikely that you will want to change the provider every time, so choose one that provides the widest choice of service packages. Undoubtedly, the price does matter, but at this stage you need a service that will provide maximum flexibility in work and allow you to control all domains. Personally, my main server is at home, and the additional server is at Softlayer. They have a good selection of packages and great technical support.

I register domains on GoDaddy. In order to buy domains faster, cheaper and easier, I specifically called customer service and asked for a special status for my account. You will buy a lot of domains, so do not be afraid to overstate a few numbers in conversation. As soon as you figure out the server and domains, the construction phase will begin. First of all you need to lay the foundation.

Foundation is the most important part of your SEO empire, so you need to take a thorough look at its tab. The SEO foundation must perform three tasks:

  1. speed up indexing and provide other sites with reference weight;
  2. be strong and reliable;
  3. generate profit sufficient to pay for the server and buying new domains.

Since the foundation must be permanent, with its tab you cannot use black methods. These sites should be 100% white. Duplicated content is acceptable in principle, however sites should be for people and besides this include several thousand pages for indexing. Site pages should be sharpened for long key phrases in order to attract search traffic and generate profit with the help of contextual advertising and / or affiliate sales.

Sites - databases are ideally suited for this purpose. Such sites are nothing more than content neatly folded into tables in a database (i.e., MySQL). Such sites are widely distributed. You can buy them at Digital Point or SitePoint. Also visit the SEOcracy website. It is dedicated to databases and filling them with content. To succeed in creating websites - databases, you must set yourself a high goal. For a start, this goal could be a million pages indexed. For this you need to make at least 5 million records. You can make the content half unique if you mix it. This will somewhat simplify your task. In any case, make as many pages as your existing content allows. Put it on the site, take care of its indexing and start building a new site.

Do not forget about the rule number 4. If you build one site, stop and start waiting until it is filled with a million pages, you have to wait a very long time. Do not stop work at all. Here the more the better. Do not forget that with the increasing popularity of the site at any time you can tweak the content to make it more attractive to visitors. Sometimes I take census data and start playing with statistics. Content does not have to be 100% truthful - it must look good. Even if you use duplicate content, you still need to adjust the keywords a bit to fit them to a specific niche.

What is the point of all this? After a while, you will start building money sites. These sites will be filled with unique content, they will have a stunning design, they will bring good profits. However, without SEO support, it will be very difficult for them to get into the top search engines. They will definitely need backlinks.

Now I will explain all this with a simple example. Imagine that you have 10 sites - databases, and each of these sites has 10,000 pages. Suppose you managed to index a tenth of these pages. The income from these pages should be enough to buy a new server and domains. Now you can start building cash sites. On each page of the site - the database, you can place up to 10 outgoing links (such links will be quite weighty). Even if there are only 5 such links, this means that you already have 50,000 links at your disposal. If in order to get to the top, your money site needs only 1000 backlinks, you can create 50 such sites.Given that the money sites will be well converted (mostly they will be landing pages, for example, mini-sites or subscription forms), they will bring you quite a lot of money. But let's not get ahead of ourselves ...

When you have a good content base, start building websites. The most important stage is to make the first 2-3 sites. They will take you much more time than the next. I began to build my SEO empire by collecting a good selection of free templates. In the network of their bulk. The first place you should visit is the site Open Source Templates.

The database design should be designed so that all content can be categorized. So on the main page should be presented the main categories. Then each category should be divided into subcategories. Circle the categories so that they are linked to each other. The number of categories and subcategories for all sites will be different (it also depends on what you want to see on the site). After you think about the structure of the site, select a template for the content pages.

For example, you want to create a database of real estate in the United States. All states should be presented on the main page of such a site and, accordingly, each state should have its own category and link. When a visitor chooses a state, let it be Oregon, he will see a list of cities in this state. When he selects a city, say, Portland, and follows the link, he will be taken to a page with a list of real estate agencies in Portland. Then he can choose an agency, for example, REMAX, and see the contact details of the agency. Such a contact page can bring you search traffic for REMAX in Portland Oregon, real estate companies in Portland Oregon, real estate companies in Oregon, etc. Choose a template that matches the topic and the site is ready.

Once you have mastered the installation and configuration of sites - databases, you can make 3-10 large databases daily. Let the first three bases take you a whole week, but you will get invaluable experience. I prefer to start with large database sites. It seems to me more efficient, because even if search engines index only 10-20% of pages, in absolute terms, large sites will significantly outpace smaller sites. If, after finishing work on large databases, I understand that I need additional content, I create medium-sized sites. Subject niche does not matter. Who cares if you don’t need a website with NBA player statistics? If you have access to the data, build it. In the future, in any case, it will bring you a certain income and valuable backlinks.

So, before you start building, you must set yourself a goal. My first goal was a million pages indexed. It took me a whole month to achieve it (yes, I plowed like Daddy Carlo, but achieved my goal). Having the desired result, do not stop. If necessary, build additional bases.

If the databases are different in subject, do not link them and do not scatter them on different IP. Of course, if the server allows you to work on different IP or you have several servers, use this feature. Do not leave empty space on the servers, clog them with bases to the fullest extent. And never wait for the results. Build bases until you reach your goal. The full indexation of these sites can take from 6 to 8 months, so I advise you to use this time to build a reliable basement.

If you are going to build a strong and reliable building, you simply have to supply it with a basement. In some skyscrapers, the basement reaches up to 30 meters in depth, and this is neither more nor less than 10 floors! Your SEO empire should take strong roots. It's time to introduce you to the underground world of optimization - black SEO.

Forget everything you’ve been told about morality and ethics. I wrote about it many times, but I repeat once again: there is no difference between black and white SEO. If one day the search engine changes the algorithm and throws out your highly profitable white website from the issue, do you not have the right to spit on this search engine and continue to do your own business?

You have a good supply of links from databases, now you Need links from unique sites. A huge number of sites. Achieve the required volumes in only two ways: autogeneration and automation. Let's start with auto-generated sites. How to create such sites, you can read here. But we will not limit ourselves to their creation, we will go a little further. On the basis of gray sites, we will create black ones, and for this we need a good and proven CMS like Article Dashboard, Mediawiki or WordPress. The main thing that the platform was popular and trust. So you do not have to hide from the search engines. On the contrary, at every step you will be showing bots that your site is another blog, a directory of articles, sites, programs, videos, pictures and anything else.

These sites perform three important tasks:

  1. they bleach links and / or help index other sites (reference weight goes up, not down);
  2. they give shelter to black sites (in subdirectories or on subdomains);
  3. they generate income (do not forget that the costs of creating and maintaining the site should pay off).

Probably, you wonder why you should put black sites on these resources? Now I will tell everything. About a year ago I conducted an experiment, the results of which are relevant to the present day. I placed several subdomains on a trust website with a trust platform (without a link from the main domain). On these subdomains, I filled in a typewritten text that only a drunken monkey could make out, and hung on them the first pattern that came to hand. In addition, I thickly relink the pages of these subdomains among themselves. This was my first pancake.

After a while, all the subdomains went to the ban, but what is interesting is that the main site remained in issue. Moreover, he retained the previous positions and, it seemed, did not suffer at all from the fact that black sites were parasitizing on him. I used to think that such privileges are given only to major authoritative sites like Blogspot, Hypermart and Geocities, but it turned out that not only them.

It became interesting to me, and I conducted another experiment. I hung a spam site on the main domain, and a normal site with a proven CMS on the subdomain. As a result, both sites came under the ban, which is quite true. I repeated the experiment, but this time I left the main domain free, and created a normal site on the subdomain. I waited until the site is fixed in the issue, and filled the spam site on the main domain. The sites were identical to those that I used in the previous experiment, and, of course, they were also banned. However, I found one interesting point: before being banned, the site on the main domain rose very well in the issue. He left the site with a subdomain far behind.

These observations gave birth to the one-way street theory. This theory is quite reasonable, because, if you think about it, everything should be exactly like this: trust sites should not suffer because someone is abusing them. If it were not so, where would now be a resource Harvard. edu?

Theory of one-way street

The ban of the main domain causes an automatic ban of subdomains, however the subdomain cannot harm the main site if both sites are not related (the main domain does not have a reverse link to subdomain).

I create basement sites with "platform groups". I develop the structure and create an auto-inhaler. Then I select keywords for a large number of niches. As a rule, I take about 100 niches for each group (for an amateur). After that, I buy domains, upload sites on them and index them in search engines. Perhaps you wonder how the gurus manage sites that bring them 4-5-digit income? In fact, this is not at all difficult, especially since they, as a rule, do not have very many sites. They take a good design and unique content. You will also have such sites, but now we are making a basement - a huge number of ordinary sites that will feed upstream sites and generate some income. These sites will greatly help your future projects, because they will be able to give not just back links, but often thematic back links (for this, you need a spread over niches). In addition, only they can support your black sites. There is no need for you to risk databases and white money projects.

Black sites can be of two types: prosemlennye and hosted on its own server. A good example of the latter is BlogSolution and YACG based websites. Placing black sites on your own server gives you wide freedom of action with regard to their structure, and this is their great advantage. It also facilitates the automation of the process. Here, you’ll have to work more with Cpanel and installing scripts for automation, rather than solving problems related to black projects (such as bypassing captchas). In addition, the likelihood that a black site will be demolished from a paid server is much lower than if it were hosted on free hosting. Of course, from the complaints hoster and advertisers you can not escape.

The only drawback of such sites is the price. You will have to buy a lot of domains and at least one dedicated server. Installing BlogSolution on 200 sites can easily eat the resources of a good server. However, black sites on your own server is a good investment.

Here it is necessary to note the features of the growth of site traffic. If you look at the statistics of any non-virus site, you will notice that its attendance is growing nonlinearly.Immediately after the site is indexed by search engines, up to 50-100 people come to it per day. This mark is taken at a run and does not require much effort. But now it will take some effort to attract up to 250-350 people to the site daily. The fact that your site was visited by 100 people every day for a month does not mean that in six months attendance will grow to 500-600 people a day. This is very unlikely, especially for black and gray sites.

I recommend using the following approach. If you have created a site in a niche with an acceptable indicator of "competitiveness / popularity", in three weeks it can give up to 100 visitors per day. Suppose that the CTR is 2%, and the pay-per-click payment on contextual advertising is $. 15, then by the end of the third week the site will bring you $. 30 per day. Your result may differ from mine, but most of my sites bring in $. 25- $ 1. 00 per day, therefore, $. 30 is a normal indicator. Of course, this is not hundreds of dollars, but calculate the costs: domain - $ 10 per year, server costs - $ 15 per year. Estimated profit is $ 109 per year. After the deduction of costs remains $ 84 per year net profit.

In general, I never consider it in advance. Such calculations are always erroneous. Count you at least a hundred dollars a year, in the end you can still stay with a dozen. All you need to know is that the site makes a profit. How much is not important. You need to follow rule # 2 - each site should pay off, plus bring a small profit for future investments. Specific numbers do not matter as long as you do not have 500+ sites. At this stage, the ups and downs will be balanced and profits will increase more or less steadily.

As for falls, let's consider the worst option - ban . A favorite argument of opponents of black SEO is that "if you are engaged in black optimization, you will eventually be banned." Despite the fact that search engines benefit from everyone believing in it, in fact this statement is false. Therefore, before proceeding to the next stages of work, let's deal with this once and for all.

1. Despite the fact that sites are banned from time to time, you cannot be banned by anyone. Only site, one site. The statement that someone "can ban you" comes out of the assumption that one webmaster usually has only one website. But we are not webmasters, we are Internet entrepreneurs. A webmaster is more of an artisan who sells his knowledge and skills, while the main occupation of the Internet entrepreneur is to make money. Therefore, let webmasters follow the rules, and we will build a business.

2. Hitting a site in the ban is not the end of the world. We all heard stories about successful black optimizers, who one day became bankrupt, because all their sites went to the bank. Is it true? Call at least one name of such an optimizer. I have never heard this happen in reality. All black SEO is built on successes, failures and constant experimentation. You do something as long as it works. Anti-spam algorithms of search engines are stuck somewhere in the Stone Age, so you do not need to make special efforts to get around them. The main thing is to go forward all the time. Building a grid of sites, based on the knowledge that was relevant a couple of years ago, is the same as leaving the TV on the street for the night. Here you just need to keep up.

3. Ban does not mean the death of the site. When your site is banned, find out what caused it and make the necessary changes to other sites. To do this is not difficult. Just find what distinguishes the banned site from the one that remained in the issue. Also, you can always delete the site, change the title and in a few months it will appear again in the issue. The site is usually banned only by search engines (and sometimes not all). If traffic from other sources brings enough profit, you can leave it at that. In the extreme case, you can put a redirect from a banned site to a new white project to feed the latter with reference weight. As you can see, there is no such thing as the death of a black site.

4. Hitting a ban is quite rare. In the first months, when you use common programs and leave a lot of traces, your sites will drop out of distribution often enough, but when you have enough experience, the number of banned sites will noticeably decrease.

Feed reference weight

I want to elaborate on this point, because here my opinion is different from the opinion of many other optimizers. When it comes to the promotion of money sites (see Niche Capture), I believe their linking is beneficial because the sites are dedicated to the same subject matter and this increases the weight of links. However, when it comes to black sites, I believe that linking them is a useless and even dangerous business. If you have a couple of hundred sites based on BlogSolution and all of them are sharpened for certain keywords from different niches, linking them can raise them a little in issue and bring you a few extra dollars from one site per month, but without this they generate enough income. Moreover, the task of these sites is not stable and high income, but backlinks. I do not want to disturb search engines with non-thematic links and do not want to leave unnecessary traces, so I send links from black sites to higher-level projects, for example, sites - databases. This is the reference weight feed. The wider and deeper your SEO empire takes root, the more powerful it will be. Autogenerating sites greatly accelerates the growth of these roots.

You should understand that despite the fact that black sites generate some income, their CTR and money potential are lower than those of other white sites. Therefore, you should use them mainly to feed upstream sites, such as databases. This will allow white projects to rise in issuance and generate more revenue from advertising and affiliate sales.
In the same way you will build the floors of your skyscraper. Databases have a huge supply of links, which, when feeding black sites, can give a good impetus to white projects. The higher the floor, the more relevant and better the links are, which means higher positions for competitive inquiries and higher profits. Therefore, the next time when you will develop a link building strategy, you will have to think not about who will refer to you, but about how and where to direct the flow of back links from lower-level sites. If you have a website that you want to raise in the issue, look at what level of SEO-empire it is. Then do the laying of the foundation, the construction of the basement and / or lower floors.

So many Internet entrepreneurs are doing that need to move the landing page to some of the competitive niches. First, they create a page, and after that they make several black sites and link back to this page. The white project makes a profit, and the black sites just pay off (with the help of contextual advertising or cloaking). Of course, this is a very simplified scheme, but it reflects the essence of the process. The total reference weight of black sites feeds the database. Then the weight of the databases themselves is added to this and it all goes up to the high-yield money sites. This is how the weight of links in your SEO empire will be transmitted. Now let's talk about the lowest level of your high-rise - spam sites.

Spam sites

Black spam sites have high potential in terms of both profit and back links. These are small Internet marketing promotions worth investing in. Many professionals make good money on spam sites alone. The reason this is possible is their cost close to zero. You can create several clusters of spam sites in a short time, but for this you will most likely need to be able to write code. If you are not able, you will have to find or order the necessary tools, which, naturally, will increase the initial costs. Creating tools, remember that you do not earn a million spam sites in the first month. If the volume of sites with which you can work does not bring enough profit to recoup the costs, make the necessary changes to the workflow and only then go on.

To create spam sites, you first need a large list of keywords. Try to push sites as many niches as possible. I say this because spam sites are a great niche research tool. They not only say under what keywords you need to sharpen money sites, but also show the potential of the chosen niche. But we'll talk about this a little later. Now we will focus on what a spam site is and how to start earning more with it than John Chow earns.

In a nutshell a spam site is a page or site hosted on free hosting, such as WordPress. com, Blogspot, Hypermart or any other. You can also use Squidoo and even MySpace as a platform. When the platform is selected, you need to create a site on it. To monetize spam sites, use all permitted methods. For example, WordPress does not allow you to add your code, so here you have to limit to affiliate links. There are a lot of such platforms, but I advise you to use only the largest ones. First, smaller platforms are more actively fighting spam; secondly, somehow it is not human to clog the site server of 10,000 accounts, if it is designed for only 5,000.

Together with Rob, we created special bots, which we call ants. The script queen throws ants on a free hosting, after which the ants automatically fill the pages of sites with content based on keywords taken from the queen script. This script works very efficiently.
Also, you can take any popular platform and find abandoned sites. For example, download and install the WordPress MU platform. Find some typical phrases for the first page and use these phrases to search for similar sites. So you will find sites on which WordPress MU platform was installed, but which have never been used. Create multiple accounts and install them on several hundreds of sites. Post affiliate links and links to your black sites (or databases) on new sites. Among other things, it allows you to scatter sites across different IP and distribute attachments. Creating spam sites, think how to automate the process using a special script. When I create an account on a new platform, I myself go through all the stages of registration and record all the necessary data, including cookies and other related information.

Tasks of spam sites:

  1. Creating a large amount of reference weight for other sites.
  2. Making a profit. Note: When registering with affiliate programs and / or networks, specify white sites or sites - databases. So you increase the likelihood of successful registration.
  3. Search for keywords. Track the most successful spam sites and see which phrases bring the most traffic. There are many nugget phrases like “free hot dogs with Korean carrots” that cannot be found in any other way.

Analyze keywords for which banned sites ranked well. Most likely, their ban was caused by a complaint of another entrepreneur, who did not like that in returning at a profitable request, he was bypassed by a black website. Therefore, as soon as you notice that one of the sites went to the ban, check for which key phrases and in which position he was in issue. As soon as you find a good keyword, create a white website or page for it, send a sufficient number of backlinks to it and promote it in extradition without fear for its future. I understand that monitoring such a number of sites is not easy, but you can always use frames and link navigation statistics. You can also view statistics in the admin area of partner sites. But do not waste all your time studying statistics - better create additional spam grids. Do not wait for the results, otherwise they will never be.

I often use spam sites to get quick money for new investments. After the initial surge, the income from spam sites will decrease and become steadily low, so it is better to spend the money not on a new machine, but on new servers and domains.

Here's what you need to remember about spam sites.

  1. Always use a proxy. This is your airbag. Yes, a good proxy will fly into the penny and it is not easy to find it, but only with its help will you be able to preserve your anonymity.
  2. Never do not put spam sites on the server next to white sites. I will repeat it again: never use your damn server! Use your home computer or someone else's home computer - it does not matter, as long as the server that hosts your other projects remains above suspicion. It’s better to have problems with your Internet service provider than with a company that owns a server.
  3. Automate all work steps. Even if you plan to create just a hundred sites, make sure that all work is done on the machine (or hire a Hindu). The time spent is more than repaid in the future, even if this future only comes in a couple of years.
  4. Create scripts and add new modules to them. Spending a little extra time will make your life much easier. For example, recently Rob and I created a special Worpress plugin. It allows all of our codes to interact with any WordPress installation, be it WordPress MU or WordPress. com, thanks to just one line of code! This is a huge time saver. Do the same. Create a library of codes and unique modules, it will be very useful in the future.
  5. Use cron and deferred tasks for the server. Customize them, test for errors and forget.

Go ahead.

Of course, black sites and spam sites are not all basement levels. There are also parasite sites and other types of spam sites. Whatever options you choose, remember that these sites should be profitable. One of my favorites is the cyclical site.

Cyclic sites

Cyclic site has two functions. He brings a good income for small investments in a short time. Then he moves to a new stage and becomes a powerful bleach of links. The disadvantage of cyclical sites is that at the stage of profit, they eat up a lot of server resources. On the other hand, they only bring in money during the first 3-4 weeks, then you stop the cash flow and the resource consumption drops to the minimum value. Such cycling is very beneficial, because you can repeat the process over and over again. I allocated a whole server for such sites. It was enough for me to create several thousand cyclical sites during the year, and there is still a bit of space for new sites.

How to create a looping website:

  1. Download the WordPress distribution kit that I have compiled.
  2. Buy a domain suitable for a common niche (not a keyword). The site is unlikely to rise in the issuance so high as to bring enough profit from the search traffic. In addition, the wider the niche, the greater the benefit to other sites of yours in the future.
  3. Place the domain on the server and run a script that will create an account, flood and unpack the WordPress distribution, configure the MySQL database and complete the installation.
  4. Write an ant script that logs in to the new site, activates the WP-Autopost and Adsense Deluxe plug-ins and configures them.
  5. Set up the script so that it can randomly select a template for the site from the list you have compiled.

The WP-Autopost plugin automatically publishes posts based on the content from the specified RSS feeds and sends the trackbacks to the site where the original article is posted. This plugin is currently unavailable for general use.

The Adsense Deluxe plugin modifies the template and automatically inserts AdSense blocks into it. All you need to specify is your ID.

Import a large list of RSS feeds to sites. To search for feeds, use Google Blog Search. Pick up tapes for common keywords, such as Microsoft. From some of the blogs found this way, up to 700 people per day switched to my sites.

B o most of the traffic will come from trackbacks. Problems with traffic should arise. If you select the RSS feeds correctly, within the first week up to 500-1000 visitors per day should come to the site. Sometimes I managed to find such nuggets that brought 10k people a day (I guess you don’t need to say that with such volumes my server crashed, because every time someone went to a trackback page, the server would trigger an RSS feed) . CTR of such traffic for AdSense is 2-5%. I modified the WP-Autopost plugin a bit so that it would not just overload the content from the feeds to the blog, but would write something like "_Name_ posted a great post _post title_. Here is an excerpt from it _post content_". (Everything is in English.) This will significantly reduce the number of complaints for spam trackbacks.

Keep in mind that there will be complaints in any case, not only to AdSense, but also to the domain and hosting provider. Therefore, immediately make sure that in your name servers (name servers - I find it difficult to translate) the fake name of the provider has been indicated. In many ways, the lifetime of cyclical sites is limited to 3-4 weeks precisely because of complaints. During this time, sites should earn you $ 1-10 per day. Some of those with whom I shared this method of earning were able to raise a dollar a day from sites hosted on shared hosting. As a rule, they could increase profits if they added new feeds and / or used subdomains (this would reduce their costs).

When you have free money, buy a server and put new cyclical sites there. When they complete their cash cycle, take half the profits and purchase additional domains. Do this until your server is full. When the active life of the site comes to an end, place a simple content page with the main keywords on the domain and hang up some advertisements to support pants. Now sites will consume a minimum of server resources. Every time you close cyclical sites, launch new sites so that the flow of profits does not stop.

But here's the real value of cyclical sites: when you create a white and fluffy cash site, you definitely need thematic backlinks. But instead of arranging a link building campaign, you only need to look through the list of your old cyclical sites and remove the cream from them. Suppose you are going to create a website for training dogs service teams. You are browsing a list of cyclical sites and are looking for dog related sites among them. In 3-4 weeks of active life, cyclical sites can collect up to 300-600 inbound links. If in order to get to the top for the right dog request, you need 1200-1500 backlinks, you just take 3-4 old cyclical sites and redirect them to a white site.

The new site will immediately have new links and some traffic. There is a double benefit: money at the beginning, links at the end. Surely you have heard many times that there are no secrets in SEO, common sense alone. This is complete rubbish. Of course, common sense plays a significant role, but this does not negate the fact that in SEO there are secrets and sometimes the position in the issue depends on these secrets. And you will have to search and find them, because only the fact that you have a huge network of cyclical sites will not raise them in the eyes of search engines.

For a moment, do not forget about the appointment of cyclical sites. You can easily catch the lure of easy money and leave the sites for a longer period, but in the end it will play against you. Working with cyclical sites, I lost servers. I had problems with Internet service providers, they closed my AdSense accounts, Godaddy even fined me. Many bloggers do not understand what RSS is, and they think that you steal their content even if you design the post correctly and link back to their blog.

The best way out is to let the trolls let off steam in a letter to the dummy hosting provider and close the site in a few weeks. They will think they have won, and stop complaining about you at all angles. Do not be greedy and earn more.
Don't forget about automation. Do not waste time supporting all of these sites. The maximum that should be required from you is to create and import a list of domains, import the necessary keywords, set up new sites (in one click) and delete old sites (also in one click). The less time it takes to work with cyclical sites, the more time you will have for other projects.

Recently, John Chow asked his readers which is better: several large sites or many small ones? His argument was: look at successful Internet entrepreneurs - the majority of them rose through one large site.
I don’t want to offend John, but it seems to me that this approach is naive. Let's compare Internet marketing with trading on the exchange. "How did you get rich?" - "I bought 50,000 IBM in the early 90s." But this is not the answer to the question. After all, the money to buy 50,000 shares did not fall from the sky, right? At first, this person made small investments, diversified a package and reinvested profits, and only after that he allowed himself to risk and invest in a large block of shares. Internet marketing works the same way. You do not get rich when you go to the top for mortgage loans. You get richer when you increase resources and make investments, which ultimately allow you to reach the top for this request.

It does not matter at what stage of the development of the SEO-empire you are now. Print the article, carefully read it and make the necessary notes. I bet there will be a lot of such marks. After that, start laying the foundation. For the foundation, it is not necessary to take databases, but I recommend using them. Why, I will explain in the next post.

In the same way, you can not build the black tiers of the basement as I propose to build them, but, again, such sites can be very useful when it comes to promoting one-page sites with a minimum of content.

So, the foundation and basement of our skyscraper is ready. This stage of construction does not take you much time. Moreover, it’s important not so much the numbers as the scale. You can create 10 databases and 100 black sites on your own server and 1000 spam sites in a short time and at relatively low cost. If on each site there are 5 links, you will get not only good profits directly from the sites, but you will also stock up on links for future projects, namely white high-profit sites. But let's not get ahead of ourselves. Let's first lay the foundation and build the basement, and after that we will think about the floors for offices.
